I'm a little confused here.

Things I have seen in the Nerd Lounge that seemingly aren't a violation of the rules:
-people writing about assaulting real life people
-discussions about violating consent boundaries
-discussions that people who are good at dating are sociopaths
-creating entire threads to flip out about the fact that someone has been called on their shit.


Things that are a violation of the rules:
Pointing out that a thread is , in and of itself, an attack on a huge section of commenters on DNL Prime.


And people wonder why some commenters on Prime respond that they were "physically ill" reading this forum and won't come here?
Why would they come here when they know they're being attacked on the down low over here?

We try to make this a space where problematic ideas can be discussed and challenged and hopefully some minds can be changed. It's a tricky balance between keeping that and keeping things from getting too toxic, and I certainly understand why this forum is not for everyone.

Beyond that, I'm going to lock both this thread and Wisp's thread for the moment while mods give some thought to all of this. As always when a thread is locked, we ask that no one start new threads on this or related topics.
