Today I learned...

They say you learn something new every day. I wanted to make a thread where we can share all those little things we learn day by day, whether it be some interesting fact, a new skill, a life lesson, or maybe something you've discovered about yourself or someone else in your life that you didn't know before. So tell us what new thing you've learned today, and we can all learn together.

Today I learned that wax paper is NOT oven safe. This is probably terribly obvious, but my mom and I did not think to question this fact at first and had to learn it the hard way.

Ah, yes! That is what you need to use parchment paper for!
I learned not to trust a two-year-old when she says she has her sunglasses as you get back in the car. We are home, there are no sunglasses, and there are tears.
