Ever have a crush on a fictional character?
I have had several. Sara Sidle from CSI was my biggest. Right now I am into Abby from NCIS (which I just started watching).

<mod>Sorry to be a bit of a neat freak here, but I'm gonna move this to the Entertainment subforum since I think it's a pretty solid fit. Bootlebat, could you try and give a thought to if there's a better-suited subforum than Off-Topic when you start a thread in future? Thanks!</mod>
I don't get strong crushes on fictional characters but I've had mild ones. Sailor Mars was the first one I can remember, Zoe from Firefly, Kate McKinnon's character from the recent Ghostbusters, there's probably tons of others I can't think of...

Hope you don't mind me asking but are you a guy or girl in real life? (I'm a guy)

Girl. I'm gay, if that's where the question comes from.

Re: Ever have a crush on a fictional character?
They're very rare for me, but I guess there are one or two.
I have a thing for Rin from the anime Mnemosyne (WARNING: It's a very graphic anime.) since I watched it some years ago. I'd like to watch it again, but I think the streaming site that hosted it has gone to crap.
I developed one lately for Gil Grissom due to CSI reruns. What a man!
EDIT: oh, I forgot about Sydney Fox. SIIIIIGH. Relic Hunter was so fun when I was a kid and I still low-key wish I were Nigel sometimes. I'm not opposed to a remake, but IDK who could replace Tia Carrere.

So, uh...turns out there's going to be a "National Treasure" series. And the reveal trailer pushed those exact buttons.

Re: Ever have a crush on a fictional character?
I totally did a post on my blog about this last year.
To summarize that, while I was born in the early 80's and you'd think my earliest crushes would have been Teela or Cheetara, but for toddler-me it was Penny from INSPECTOR GADGET. At the time she would have been older, but still a kid.
As I grew up those transitioned to April O'Neill, Lydia Deetz, and Rogue. The last time I really was impressionable enough to have those was 2000's X-MEN: EVOLUTION, where Rogue and Kitty Pryde were the archetypes of the types of young women I crushed on as a teenager (sullen goth girl or perky optimistic "princesses").
