Agents of Shield

Finally got around to watching this on Netflix, having been warned to skip certain episodes. It took a while to get going, but I really had a blast with the 2nd half of the first season.

Legitimate question though.... does anyone else out there like this show? I feel kind of alone in digging it; any comments thread I read online about it is just ripping it apart.

I watched it for a bit of the first season and then tried again for a bit of the second but gave up again. I wouldn't say I disliked it, I just didn't find it that engaging in the end.

If the other commenters you're seeing are anything like me, I'd bet a lot of the ripping it apart comes from the fact that they thought it had a lot of potential and that they really wanted to like it - it makes every flaw stand out so strongly when it feels like it could have been much more.

I personally adore it, I even plan on picking up the AOS wallet as I think it looks nifty.

I did not care for the show initially but after about the mid way point of the first season it started to click for me. The strong showing so far in the second season has dispelled any doubts that I had. I am firmly on Team Mac and Fitz.

I dig the writing, humor, and love the cameos thus far.  My favorite bits of dialogue are the bits about "Prepare for a large file transfer" and the Agent brothers Koenig's LMD teasing.  


Oddly enough I felt the same about Agent Carter, I thought the first episode was weak but after giving it a second chance I am warming up to it.
