Also don't forget, when feminists speak out (even in the most mild of ways) they are almost always immediately called nasty names, or even that we are just whining, or being overemotional, or ruining people's fun etc. So we understand the challenges men face in wanting to speak up for their own rights. It's not fun when you're made fun of, or people try to silence you. But if it's something you feel passionately about there comes a time when you just have to speak up regardless of the consequences. I think men like you will come to such a breaking point and will decide to just say something, regardless of the backlash.

And oh yes, the patriarchy most definitely holds back men and their causes as well. We're all in this together.
