The set list for an upcoming show. I'm listening to the full thing several times per day right now.

This song here is a new favorite of mine in the bachata scene. It's cheesy and sentimental to almost a fault, but I still love it so much
The funny thing about the bachata songs to me is - that I don't even know one word in spanish . I'll probably start disliking a lot of songs once I know what they are actually talking about in them.

I will have you know that being a young Latino man, I do know a lot Spanish and a majority of bachata songs are indeed love songs. Personally, I'm not a fan of bachata in general, but they do make great dance tunes!

Some songs seem like they're about experience when you're young. Then you get older and they seem like songs about innocence.

Best version of "Wave of Mutilation". Such feels in this version unlike the original Doolittle version. D:

Also, I realized Songs of Innocence may be a reference to the new U2 album.

I suspect that would be the case with either of these, if I'd heard them when I was younger:
I definitely like both, but...yeah. Heh. I think this is really the case with most (good) songs, come to think of it—a song presents a single, coherent thesis, but Real Life does not follow such simplistic rules.

Ohman takuan, BNL was my first concert/favorite band as a real youngun (like... ages 9-12) and The Old Apartment is absolutely a song that fits in that category. Maybe the song of that type in my internal canon. It presented such a distant and confusing picture of being an adult. Thanks for the reminder. (Also I did not know Page left the band?! )
