Windows 10 Hype!
So, unless you have been living under a rock for the past few months - windows 10 is just around the corner and about to be officially released (this Wednesday July 29th), after being available as a preview version for quite some time now. It will be 100% FREE as an upgrade from any PC with windows 7 or 8.1 for the entire first year of its release. From what I read about the preview edition, it's shaping up to be probably the best windows yet!
I will probably wait a bit before upgrading, just until the major release bugs/security issues are fixed then I'll jump to the new windows. Also - I'll probably get it as it will allow for streaming from an xbox one console to the PC, which is a pretty neat feature. As a Xbox User, I get quite a bit of integration with the console on the new operating system, which makes it a big incentive for me to upgrade.
What about others here? Excited about it, not really, a mac/linux user, etc. I would love to hear your thoughts about this windows release, is it going to be big or not and why.

Re: Windows 10 Hype!
The things I hate about 8 (app interface for non-touch screen computers, linking everything to a windows account, excess features I don't need/want, super-annoying way to access files (mostly eliminated with free programs, but still)) are likely here to stay (new menu has app style graphics, what will I do with a computerized assistant?), but I'll probably download it eventually if only for a new set of things to complain about.
Honestly thought about switching to a linux system (cygwin and I got along pretty well when I needed it), but my inner laziness won out
Glad you're excited though!
