I...might've...had an Actual Date today. And it went really well. And...I'd like to do this sort of thing again and it sounds like she also would like that.

Although if this is going to a Friends Who Hang Out kind of place from here on, I don't think I would be terribly surprised or upset about that. Some signs point there.

(I am, for instance, now kicking myself for not having touched her at all. Her hands were resting on the table for a while and I forgot what that posture meant until after she moved 'em.)

This also seems to confirm Current Therapist's hypothesis that Getting Too Attached is not actually a problem that I have to worry about. Since that wouldn't have been my first guess, it therefore seems I've finally found a shrink who might sometimes be able to tell me something about myself that I don't already know. She's a keeper.

I forgot the other errands I'd been planning for today 'cause I was far too busy grinning like a moron all the way home.

As a birthday gift to myself, I finally managed to locate and purchase a bra that actually fits me! I can wear my cute shirts now without having wide sports bra straps visible, and my boobs are boob-shaped instead of smushed flat all the time Shiny/thrilled

I have been extra happy for the last few weeks because this success took 13 years to achieve and I'm still a little surprised.

Got dragged out of it, more like. Almost wish there was something I could point to (well, actually the spreadsheet y'all told me to keep was a conversation-starter so I guess there's that, and I've kept quiet on my maybe-somewhat-asexuality so far, but I mean generally) that I did to make this time different. But really...she's the one who made it happen. I'm still pretty much the same me. Shrug

I want to help, but it's still just throwing spinners at a dartboard as far as I can tell.

This is more like secondhand good news, but a friend of my from college (who I know from my fiction writing classes) was at the Emmy's tonight, because he writes for Last Week Tonight, and their writing team got nominated. They read out his name and everything! It's pretty darn cool that I got to read this guy's writing before he was all important!

Good news - got my doctor to declare me genetically defective because one of my chromosomes is shorter than the 45 others. And there's a 50% chance of me passing on that condition should I reproduce. Maybe this will be the argument that works to get my parents off my back about grandchildren.
