So I  was inspired by usernames thread and thought I would start a thread where people could talk about their avatars.

My avatar is from forum avatars but for reasons: first I look a little bit like him ( I guess he is Pete Parker from spiderman?) but I'm much older.
Second I would be happiest man in the world if I had girlfriend looking like Kirsten Dunst .

So what's story behind your avatar?

I picked from the stock avatars available. The cat looks a bit like my cat when I was a kid.

Mine is from a t-shirt that I own. I like cats and I suppose I admire that one's general air of badassery.

When I was in middle school I got my hands on discs for a WRPG called Wizardry 8 (developed by Sir-Tech) and thoroughly enjoyed playing it multiple times for years. (It's on Steam now! And it's still great!) Warning: several installments in the series are sexist right down to the gameplay mechanics, and Wiz8 is the least sexist but is still somewhat sexist.

Anyway, the fictional human-cat hybrid race are the "Felpurr". In addition to liking cats quite a lot already, their base stats (high speed/senses/dexterity, average intelligence/strength, low vitality/piety) were great for the character classes I liked best: ninja, rogue, gadgeteer, bard.... The avatar I'm using is my favorite of the portraits available for Felpurr characters.

I used to have a folder full of the creepiest bunny-themed images I'd been able to find, and would cycle them as avatars on most forums. No longer have the folder, but somehow this pic survived.

Yep, just with the words for infantry translated, sort of. I think it is from the 1990s? I think we Poles are naturally dystopian

Mine's Lin Bei Fong from Legend of Korra, because that shot perfectly expressed the way I feel about some of the more...interesting comments we run into round these parts. Also, b/c she's a total badass.

The one I have at the moment is, quite simply, Phoenix Wright from the Ace Attorney series. It, like my username, harkens back to a point in my life when I was a huge fan of the series.

Then again, maybe it could do with a change-up.
