Re: orange
E6
- Spoiler:
- Dohohohoho Kakeru won't answer his own question
- Visual symbolism, Kakeru in the dark shade and Suwa standing in the light
- "They should just start dating already" No fucking kidding
- Sneaky guy taking her hand like that
- "From here on, please make Kakeru as happy as you can." That's not ominoussssss
- She's been too scared to read ahead
- There it is, it was suicide
- "I'm going to see mom to apologize to her."
- Man, Naho just drops the nuke on Kakeru like that
- "Did you get one too?" HOLY SHIT

Re: orange
- E6:
-Kakeru's ways of trying to get her to say she likes him are getting increasingly awkward.
-It's nicely done in the scene where Suwa and Kakeru are talking, how Kakeru's in shade under the umbrella while Suwa's in the sun.
-Being scared to let things change really explains the way he acts with Naho, always bringing them almost to the point of getting together and then holding back.
-The evil ex thing is getting pretty cheesy.
-Why do they announce who's last place?! That's so mean!
-You have a phone, ffs, call him instead of just standing him up! There's no excuse for this kind of soap opera misunderstanding in 2016!
-Hagita taking off his glasses and "it's thanks to my brain"
-This whole friend group is one hell of a wingman
-"I'm seriously gonna deck that girl" "I won't stop you."
-Girl's gotten some courage! Way to go, Naho! And Kakeru too!
-The fireworks reflecting in the water, so pretty.
-She reads ahead at last
-After all that holding hands and talking about how they want to ask/be asked out by each other, and they're still playing the plausible deniability game?!
-him telling her about the day of the opening ceremony, and her not knowing what to say
-If they all got letters, does that mean they all ignored warnings not to ask him to hang out that first day?

Probably because it was a joke. He wanted to come in dead last with zero votes (and maybe since it was a girl's contest, a way to preserve the feelings of whichever girl actually came in last)
- Spoiler:
-If they all got letters, does that mean they all ignored warnings not to ask him to hang out that first day?
- Spoiler:
It's somewhat strange because you'd assume if they all got their letters at the same time, they would know that Kakeru's suicide is linked to not going home that day.

Re: orange
- Spoiler:
If they all sent back letters with the idea that they'll save Kakeru, it seems like they would pool knowledge in order to coordinate the effort.
I could see some of them sending back letters without telling the others because they did say they weren't as close of friends as they all used to be, but then it sounds like Naho and Suwa both got letters, and they are very much connected in the future. I'm not sure there's a big reason either of them would not tell the other what they're doing, especially since Suwa is pushing Naho in Kakeru's direction.

- Spoiler:
- I feel like we're still missing a piece we need about the future, how the time travel comes into it. Though they could just give some weaksauce thing about each sticking to the info future them experienced because sharing would be more risk of changing too much in the future

Re: orange
- E7:
-Read Suwa's letter? She hasn't even read her own damn letter!
-That flashback with Kakeru's mom
-"Since I'm a nasty bitch, I'll just tell the whole school..." She didn't even need to bother with hitting her
-Aww, Naho's friends are really sweet.
-Transition from "get me a bouquet of flowers" to future Suwa putting a bunch of flowers on his shrine, damn that was brutal.
-Oh jeez, and then he gives them to Naho, break our hearts why don't you.
-Suwa's expression handing Kakeru the flowers
-I wonder how much Suwa knows about what he's trying to sacrifice to save Kakeru, that he's trying to get him together with Naho not just at his own current chance to date her, but maybe a whole future?
-Kakeru finally asks her out! UGH, FINALLY! /grumpy old person without a heart
-throwing his hands up defensively in front of his face waiting for her response
-Future Suwa's letter
-OMG, SHE DIDN'T EVEN ANSWER HIM?? HOW MANY MORE EPISODES IS THAT GONNA TAKE????
-"If I answer him it might bother him?!" Yes, Naho, people just ask other people out for the fun of it, they definitely don't want to get an answer or anything. Your friends are right to laugh at you. You should be ashamed.
-But Kakeru's Tokyo friends are apparently the worst people in the entire world.
-Suwa's pulling all the weight in that conversation. That hug! Why is Naho the protagonist here and not Suwa?
-It's a lot of pressure on Naho, though, the way that her dating Kakeru and saving him have got to be linked, in her mind at least. She clearly likes him without that, but that's still a heavy thing to have at the start of dating.

E7
- Spoiler:
- Yepppp Suwa missed reading the letter on the first day
- Dohohoo Enail, I love that Naho has no problem reading someone else's letter but it took her a bazillion years to read hers ahead
- Team Save Kakeru going hard on his birthday stuff
- Kakeru's mom saying she threw his stuff out was fucking scary
- "A bouquet of flowers" and transitions to the future, god good ;_;
- Giving her the flowers in the future, god dammit ;_;
- Is Suwa not the most god-tier bro ever?
- SUICIDE ATTEMPT ON THE 23RD OH SHIT
- "I was wondering if I jumped from here if I could just fly away." And there it is
- "Have you ever thought that you wanted to die?" Kakeru falls apart
- Suwa Ultimate Bro ;_;

Re: orange
- E8:
-It's not just Kakeru, they all love being mean to Hagita
-Her friends talking in sync
-Oh my fucking gawd, they're still not actually going out?! He's asked her out, she said yes, what is wrong with these people!?!
-People sure do faint a lot in anime.
-He's scared he'll hurt her if they went out, I take back my !?!s
-Man, even Suwa's doubting himself now ...and it kind of sounds like maybe the letter did tell him more about his future that he'd be changing, that his choices mean losing something important no matter what.
-Suwa's getting a little too intense there about Kakeru running the relay
-Random background dude who tries to solve everything with bribery
-The 'everyone does the relay' Spartacus thing was kind of weird and awkward
-Naho deciding to make her own choices how to handle things instead of just relying on the letter, she's finally learning to stand up to.... uh, herself
-Don't ignore the letter completely, though!! It could still be useful even if you decide what to do with the info yourself!!!
-JUST HOLD HIS FUCKING HAND ALREADY!!!!
-OMG, SHE DOESN'T EVEN UNDERSTAND WHY HE'S HOLDING HIS HAND OUT?!? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS GIRL?????
-I knew it, they've all got letters! Why didn't they join forces earlier, though?
-A little disappointed Hagita didn't ask Ponytail girl whose name I've forgotten out.

- Aw, he's afraid he'll drag her down somehow
- Mannn, the burden of the future is even starting to get to Suwa
- I think that's Kakeru's fake smile when stepping aside for the relay race
- "Is there something you're hiding from us" These nosy-ass bitches
- ... Are team Nosy gonna fuck up too to share the blame?
- Doooon't ignore the letterssssss

No excuses, step up your game!
- Spoiler:
- When does Kakeru find out about the letters? Or does he even get one from sometime?
- Spoiler:
Now that all of them are in on the letters thing and conspiring together to save him, it's starting to feel like something important he's kind of excluded from. Like, at some point, he's probably going to notice all his friends are sharing a secret without him. I think they're going to need to tell him or he'll need to find out soon, or it could fuck things up more.
aka the "JUST FUCK ALREADY" episode
Isn't that all of them?

Ep 9
Animation quality's taken a hit in this one
Animation quality's taken a hit in this one
- Spoiler:
- Poor Suwa can't get any compliments
- Nahoooo, it's too late to try out "Good morning"[/d'awwwww]
- "Don't you have homework?" "I'll do it sometime." TOTALLY BELIEVABLE
- Holy shit Azu and Hagita, just fuck already
- AGH, the storybook animation of Naho and Kakeru walking in the rain together ;_;
- I can't tell if "I'm happy whether we go out or not" is a good thing or a bad thing, these nerds actually do seem like it wouldn't bother them at all if they never actually went on dates or whatevs
- ... That slight hesitation with Suwa, I wonder if it's not just giving up his crush but if future-him told him what he might be giving up
- "Let me tie it for you." His eyes are up there, Naho
- Dohohoho Suwa mackin' on Azu's little sister for the lulz
- Takako's parents dohohohohohohohohooooooooooooooooo
- Grandma came ;_;
- "So which one of the boys is the one you like" Embarrassing parentssssssssssss
- "That boy, huh?" DOHOHOHOHOHOOO
- SUWAAAAAAAAAAAAAA KYAAAAA~
- HAGITAAAAAAAAAAAAAA KYuhhhhhhh
- "I don't know how long I'll be here."

Re: orange
- E9:
-Man, all the letters are focused on getting Kakeru and Naho together as the solution to all. Poor Suwa. And poor Naho, to have all that pressure on her. Future-them are all old enough they should know you can't save someone by dating them And, like, why don't they have things they wish they'd done for Kakeru instead of just putting it all on setting them up, it's like they know they're supporting cast
-Also, how is she so clueless about what a crush is?? This is way too much 'blank slate protagonist.'
-And now they're both playing dumb about 'why should we hold hands?' COME ON!!!
-She says good morning to him again This girl is way too literal
-Azu's letter illustrations are cute
-And her poor little sister resignedly praying for rain
-It's a little creepy how they're all simultaneously like "rain, check, future proceeding according to plan."
-This giiiiirlllll
-"Once is enough?" YES! GO NAHO! MAKE YOUR MOVE!
-Suwa's expression when Azu says she hopes Naho and Kakeru will be together in ten years. I think future-him might have told him.
-I'm missing the pretty animation this episode
-Kakeru's memories
-Once again, Suwa comes through and brings Kakeru's grandmother.
-Suwa is ripped I wasn't expecting that. The harem is thrilled
-Hagita taking off his glasses and using his sexy voice to reveal his abs
-"who knows when I might just disappear"
-Suwa trying to push Kakeru by saying he might go out with Naho is kind of a two-way gut-punch, given the future.

Ep 10
A potential ending just occurred to me. Avoid reading because I'm totally brilliant and this is absolutely going to be the ending, so it's pretty much a spoiler
- Spoiler:
- Suwa loves them skirts short, Naho looks like she's about to die from wearing something so scandalous
- They're all carrying heavy weight for Kakeru to make it easier for him ;_;
- Dude's not even sure he should be allowed to have fun
- Hagita trying to soak up Suwa's harem love
- Dohohohohooo the Hagita and Azu ship is even sailing for the other characters
- Is someone gonna drop the baton?
- Hagita is totally going to die from this burst of speed
- Oh god, his sprain is going to crack isn't it plzno
- WINS
- Time to cash in on that kisssooooo
- CHEEK KISS, ANNIE ARE YOU OKAYYYYY
- With three episodes left, something drastic seems like it's on the cusp of happening. Kakeru finds Suwa's letter? Suwa can't give up Naho?

- Spoiler:
They save Kakeru, but he ends up dying anyways, say something they can't do anything about with future knowledge, like a terminal illness. They find his letter in the Time Capsule, but this time, it expresses feelings of happiness at having these people in his life and how he hopes they've regretted nothing

Re: orange
- E10:
-Naho has tears in her eyes when the guys pretend not to think they're cute
-Future-Hagita comes through with the info!
-The way she timidly sidles over one step more to sit closer on the mattress was adorable.
-The friends all coming to help with the mattress It's lucky the rest of them are so on the ball, except for her few breakthrough moments, Naho is pretty much useless. At least she said something once the others got the ball rolling this time.
-Aww, those kids.
-Hagita's sudden sprain
-Wow, Naho getting all assertive to give him her sweaty headband!
-Azu and Hagita are really rocking that bickering couple vibe, it's lucky Suwa's there to play matchmaker for everyone.
-Naho's frozen shock face
-Aww, grandma making him cry
-Not even a kiss on the cheek, he just kind of kisses her hair? THAT'S IT?!? I thought those two were finally going to have to make a move instead of being all like "no, it's fine if we don't go out, we're just sending longing gazes to each other while steeping in our separate pools of insecurity and misery"
-Suwa's eyes shimmering like he's going to cry
I agree something big's gotta happen soon, we're really getting into the end game now, everything's sort of been overly steady and there's a conflict that it seems like it's got to happen in some way. If it's not Kakeru finding the letter or Suwa not wanting to give Naho up, it could be there's a big bomb in Naho's letter - maybe she finds out exactly what future she's giving up and realizes how much she's going to hurt Suwa. Or I think there could still be a pretty big piece of new info that the letters have been holding back (though, I swear, if they only find it out now because no one read all the way through, I'm gonna become animated just to give a bunch of teenagers a good hard thwack upside the head)
Also, presumably next week Hagita and Azu will be going out.

Re: orange
E11
- Spoiler:
- Naho's absolute horror at Kakeru picking the picture where she's a cheerleader
- HWAAAAAAAAAAA @ the Kissu x)
- Future Suwa feeling guilty because he was the only one who noticed both Kakeru and Naho liking each other but never said anything
- I wonder if Future Naho is just saying that or if it's legit, and I'm betting this is a set-up to specifically find out
- And Suwa's excusing himself from New Year's Eve
- Bag in the back of the head, "You dumbfuck, ask her out"
- "I won't do that. Ever." AGHHHHH
- OH SHIT, THERE IT IS, THEY KNOW SUWA AND NAHO GET MARRIED
- Suwaaa
- "Oh, coming back from a date?" "We just ran into each other!" This Azu and Hagita ship is amazing
- Kakeru won't admit to being around next year
- The fight was averted but it looks like the suicide hasn't been with the way he reacted to her line
- Uh oh, the fight wasn't averted
- Jesus, this sounds a lot like the suicide was moved up by their actions instead
- Azu's cat toque/beanie is so adorable
- Suwa started playing out the scene but changed the script, this guy :'(
- Smashed the phone ffffffffffffff
- AGH DIFFERENT OUTRO
- So uhhh... is Takako Suwa's Suwa

Re: orange
You basically said everything I was going to say!
- E11, even though Bomaye said it all already:
-I lol'd at Naho's reaction to Kakeru taking the cheerleading pic too
-I thought Hagita passed two people
-That whole bit of the future selves in the car was brutal
-But at least Naho spoke up to tell him she'd still have married him I didn't read that as just to be nice, she seemed so calm and sure when she said it, whereas she's super-awkward when she's trying to be nice and spends so much time worrying about things internally. Which doesn't mean it's the same position as past-Naho or Naho in a different future would take - just because she's confident it would have been inevitable now, doesn't mean it's the only way things could have gone then. She seems a lot calmer and more confident in general, actually.
-So, they've both admitted their feelings, they go all goo-goo eyed at each other constantly, they're going and doing datelike stuff just the two of them, they're hanging out on Christmas even, why won't they just call it dating at this point? It seems like a pointless distinction.
-Oh jeez, why did his future self send him family pictures? That's kind of sending mixed messages to himself! Kind of wondering if the future them have an idea of a third way things could go that they're keeping quiet about but trying to nudge in there.
-Oh shit, he died before she could apologize after New Year's?! We're really getting to the critical point here!
-Hagita and Azu's married couple act
-COME ON, NAHO! Offer to go with him to see his Grandma, or at least walk him there!! Just telling him it'll be okay is obviously useless, it's pretty reasonable for him to be worried. Show him you get it and you care. ARGGG!
-Aww, all of them talking Suwa into being there and rooting for both of them (Harem ending? ) Seems a little late in the game to start sailing new ships and making Takako Suwa's Suwa, though.
-He still comforts Naho but changes what he says / This guy, he does everything right and is so selfless, why can't Suwa be the heroine?
-Phone smashing as the clock hits twelve
That's where they're ending?! And then two of the three ending visuals don't have Kakeru?!
I don't know that this means the suicide would be moved up, though, since Naho says she didn't get a chance to apologize in the original timeline, it must have been fairly soon and that's all the info we have on timing. Though, you'd think the letters would have said something if that was the last time they expected them all to be together.

Re: orange
Ha, I got in first today
- E12:
-The first reason he's interested in Naho is because it reminds him of himself when she blames herself for things Also, how conceited to have a crush on someone because they remind you of you
-He's telling his Tokyo friends about his mom? I think we're in the universe where he died and they wrote the letters!
-So, in the timeline where they received the letters, did they not do the time capsule? Because in the letter-writing timeline, they show it as happening before New Years. Why didn't they? Did they do it and I forgot?
-The email from his mom
-Naho got out the apology almost right away, she's really improving!
-that friendly way of cutting her out while pretending nothing's wrong, ouch.
-They're gonna send letters through a black hole and hope? Honestly, I think this is the kind of series where less explanation would be better.
-Still the sad ending visuals

E12
Remember how Boku Dake was "We're going to save everyone, together"?
I don't know how we save everyone and preserve the future all at once this time
E12
- Spoiler:
- Hagita borrowing Azu's skirt. This ship just blasted off into space
- This seems like the original timeline
- "These guys were originally a group of five anyway" It hurts
- This is rough as hell
- "Kakeru, I'm sorry." FUCK SHE WROTE A SUICIDE NOTE FOR HIM
- "Your father was a violent man." FUCK
- "Do your regrets disappear?" The same thing the letters from the future are trying to figure out
- Seeing Naho as the truck is coming, FUCK
- Probably shouldn't have explained how they sent it back in time (sort of how Satoru's powers in Boku Dake aren't explained)
