I'd heard the first ending, but they're all good. I can't think of another series where I actively liked the first four intro/ending songs, usually if I like the intros I hate the ending and vice versa. The second ending's my least favourite, though.

- Manga ch 27-29:
-Ooh, secret traitor titan-humans among the ranks!
-Levi telling the titan she's like him. Iiinteresting.
-titan scream
-the smelling guy can smell titans?!? In that case, does he sniff people when he meets them to see if they're a secret titan? Can't work, or they'd have the traitor(s) already.
-they're eating her?? That's some pretty horrifying dedication just to not get captured
-The whole experienced bunch dead, man that titan is tough.
-Eren-titan trying to talk
-the one-on-one titan fight is actually kind of boring, I was a little relieved when the female smashed Eren's head in two and horrifyingly elongated her jaw to rip his flesh open (
), before that it was multiple pages where it didn't feel like there was any particular stake or risk or even goal.
-oh shit, and then Mikasa arrives too late to save him and I feel guilty! ( again) But tbh, I'm not really worried he's dead, at this point it feels like he's got protagonist protection powers in a sliiiightly suspension of disbelief-breaking way (though I also wouldn't be that surprised if they did kill him off at some point to shake us out of complacency)

-In some shots, Mikasa and Levi are hard to tell apart because they both look so unimpressed all the time
-Ew, titan spit
-was the titan crying??
-kids hero-worshipping the scouts like Eren did, and he looks away
-Annie's not looking so good
-okay, so she feels like a coward, I'm still with Eren that 'frail' is not really a word Annie can use
-Annie's the traitor
-Everyone else is still trying to talk things out and and Mikasa just goes ahead and draws her sword, ice-cold as always.
-Annie's creepy titan smile
-man, a titan fight in the middle of the city's not going to do wonders for morale or Eren's safety
-Annie is waaaay better at titaning than Eren
-this panel is nice, the shadows on their faces
-I bet Armin suggested the plan putting him and Mikasa at risk because he knew it would provoke Eren to transform
-Annie is very calm and collected as a titan, I wonder if that's why she looks more like a normal human, not misshapen or oddly proportioned like little titans, or even with the huge, rage-grin and glowey eyes like Eren has
-Fucking badass
-WALL TITAN
-The religious zealots know something, that's unusual
-It's kind of hard to believe that this information could be hidden, given that the wall wasn't built that long ago and would have been a massive, humanity-spanning project.
-Hanji's speech/threats to the priest guy were pretty damn good, even if they didn't work
Exciting developments! And now I'm caught up to this season, whew!

I forgot if I said this for Episode 26, but the new season outro was spooky as FUCK the first time, and was no less creepy the second.

- Pixis doesn't even panic when hearing that the Titans broke through Wall Rose. Seemed just mildly intrigued
- Mikasa adjusting Eren's cloakkkkkkk dat protector waifu <3
- Sasha eats food like Titans eat people
- "Hrmmm, is Sasha's backstory going anywh- OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK"
- That was the worst thing so far, walking in on a smaller Titan eating an old lady while a kid is sitting there trying not to watch. Like, Berserk-level gross, GOD
- YEAHHHHH STABS THE TITAN IN THE EYE
- And slips through and gets away awriiiight
- wtffff a Titan that can't walk or crawl is somehow on Conny's house. Are they being catapulted over the wall or somehow air-dropped in?

-This intro music has more of a heroic feel, it's alright, but I preferred the angrier, more visceral feel of the previous ones.
-Hanji threatening the priest was cooler in the manga
-o-one of the titans in the swarm is sashaying like a runway model
-What the hell? Why are these titans so weird?? I don't know whether to laugh or shudder
-What's with Mikasa
-Levi in the manga looks unimpressed; Levi in the anime looks like he's been running on caffeine and no sleep for a week and if he tried to manifest an emotion it might knock him unconscious.
-Oh no, the horse! 6-year-old me just ran off crying
-It talks?! It gives orders?!? It's studying fighting gear?!?
-That was a particularly gruesome death

I found it particularly interesting that both with the talking Titan in the forest from before and now this one, regular Titans appear to be able to resist their natures but can't quite overcome it, even if being ordered by a (what I'm assuming is) a human Titan

Here are my thoughts about Attack on Titan:
-Was pirating some King of the Hill a couple years ago and it had a JustAnimeDubbed.tv watermark
-Went to JustAnimeDubbed.tv and they had a little IRC sidebar
-Went in the IRC and said "King of the Hill isn't anime"
-Got a link to this image in reply
-That was my only exposure to Attack on Titan 2013-2017, saw every Titan as Bill the whole time I was watching it
-Was pirating some King of the Hill a couple years ago and it had a JustAnimeDubbed.tv watermark

- eps 1-14:
Watched about half the first season, doooon't think I'm going to finish it. Couldn't get into any of the characters, and while I am vaguely curious about the Titans' origin story, it's not enough curiosity to be invested in the plot. Eren's vengeful rage was like "meh, he's no Gatsoo" and nobody else had much of a character at all. I liked Mikasa's peaceful resignation to certain death in one of the early episodes, I thought that was pretty badass, but then she decided to keep fighting and lost my attention. Uhhhmm what else was there? Armin's speech was fine, I liked Potato Girl, I liked the scientist who was around for like 1 episode, but nothing grabbed me.
I did get some good chuckles out of some of the Titan attacks (you're supposed to laugh, right? It's like... physical comedy, right?) and totally enjoyed every shot the Titans were in, especially peeping in the windows. If somebody made a supercut of this show that was just all the sequences of the Titans wandering around grinning and falling down and bumping into shit, I'd watch the heck out of that. The rest, ehhhhhh sorry y'all I just couldn't make myself care 
EDIT: No, I take it back, there was another thing I liked: the fake German names. Braus and Arlert and Zackly and DOT PIXIS, Japanese pseudo-European words are the best thing

Yeah, it does start to grab you more and more as you go on, but the characters are never going to be a strong point, it's more the general thrill of action and the horribleness of the situation than something meaningful or emotionally engaging in a deeper way.

YES! These are almost as wonderful as the tea-making instruction cards I found in a Chinese tea shop that were apparently translated into English by Google Translate's less talented cousin. I laugh until I cry every time I read them.

I might finish the season someday if I have literally nothing else to do, like I'm all out of pocket change to sort.

I put "fucking do it" through English-to-Simple-Chinese google translation, and then put the result back through Simple-Chinese-to-English-translation and it came out "Fucking Done It."

- Also Also it was kind of occurring to me... if normal people can be turned into Titans, then maybe the Titans in the wall are the people who find things out they shouldn't and then get disappeared. There was that one tl;dr story in the last episode of Season 1 with the commercial eye-catcher where a digger discovered that the walls run under the floor too, and he disappeared eventually.
