No, Facebook Friend. I am not going to stop posting articles about Type 1 diabetes research advances (which I do maybe once every 4 months) or liking Type 1 memes. I don't expect my friend with an autistic child to stop doing similar things on Facebook related to autism nor my friend with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome to stop doing similar things about her chronic medical condition, either.

Have I mentioned how much I hate grocery shopping? 'Cause man, do I hate grocery shopping.
I need to get things for making meals so I have food for work and home, but I can never think of things I'd want to bother even making.
I tell myself it's probably because I don't like having to work using just that tiny toaster oven which makes things harder and more time consuming, but I'm not entirely convinced biting the bullet and shelling out the money to just get the regular oven replaced is going to result in me finding the desire and willpower to cook more. I'd hate to make that executive decision and drop hundreds of dollars on something that I end up not using very often - though, it'd definitely get use from one of the other inhabitants here.

(I feel like I might have rambled about this months ago; I'm a little frustrated that I still haven't come to some kind of conclusion on it.)

Body issues around bra sizes seem to be even worse than the ones that come up with other sorts of clothing. Today, a woman who announced she'd lost weight and thought she needed a new band size almost cried when it turned out she had gone down a band size but also up a cup size. It took awhile to explain that cup size is a measure of relative, rather than absolute size, and that her result made complete sense if she'd lost weight in her torso. It's not the first time something like that has happened, either - every woman who measures smaller than a B cup or larger than a D cup seems to feel lousy about it, even though her breasts are the same size they were before she found out the label.

You Are Already Good Enough. It is up to the people themselves to judge the price of admission. Fantasies of what-could-be are nonsense if you simply don't care to put in the effort. You half-ass everything because it's safe, it's protective, you know you can turn any grape sour. 50 percent chance, and you can spin anything into a good story. You hate the spectre of hard work, but if you just try you might find it actually is far more hyped in your head than it actually is in practice. Also, none of this is fair and it is a system failure, but you refuse to have an external locus of control on other fronts so you're only milling this over in your head in order to feel right and validated, it's another form of learned helplessness. This is your decision, none of it is submitting to ideologies that you dislike and why would you even want acknowledgement from random folks? Everbody flies by the seat of their pants, it doesn't matter if you put them on your head in order to make it seem intentional. Write an article to get it out of your system and Shia LaBeouf it.

On a more rant-related note, the first cream I tried to put on my fingers to help deal with the never-ending callouses and other loose bits of skin and nail ... turned out to be ultimately not all that effective, so I started trying a second one this week. Two days in and I am convinced that this new cream actually makes the problem worse.

I have a freezer full of Safeway frozen peas, corn, and green beans I need to check. And some Trader Joe's frozen veggies, too.

I bought all my frozen veggies at Whole Foods this week, from their 365 brand, since the CRF recall keeps expanding, but now another company is doing a recall, and I'm just uncertain of where it will stop.

You can call the cops if you think it merits that.

Absolutely call the cops if you think it's warranted but also with your phone's sound/voice memo app, record what's going on with them. At least that way any sort of deniability is out the window I'd think.
