- Spoiler:
- Archivist Wasp. It's a post-apocalyptic ghost story, and despite the title, is not about insects (Wasp is the protagonist's name).

James Bond might be super cliched but I just absolutely love watching the movies! And it makes middle aged guys seem cool and sexy, and he's always wearing a suit I have a white suit jacket too! Totally going to watch Spectre and steal ideas about Daniel Craig's suit choices.

I do believe that's a tuxedo/dinner jacket.
I think Tom Ford did a lot of Craig's suits. http://www.tomford.com/
EDIT: Just read that Ford took over for Quantum of Solace but Brioni did Bond's tailoring for Casino Royale.

I like this one:
The animation is nice, it has a sort of pulp sf aesthetic, throws in a Star Trek reference, and passes the Bechdel test.

Uhm, I guess this kind of counts?

TLDR; Dude who wrote The Game made heel-face turn, tells about it. Somehow it makes me happy that he acknowledges that some of the shit he wrote was really messed up.

Crimson Peak has a bad case of the Idiot Plot, but man is it pretty to look at.

Don't say that eselle, I was kind of interested in that movie, if only to look at.

Re: Entertainment Joys
Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F was such a great movie, and a great rebound from Battle of Gods.
Perfectly captured what DBZ was about, long-ass fights, the now basically useless secondary characters got to have extended fight scenes. The magical girl transformations are still kind of silly, but I guess that's the thing going forward now.

If you like Gothic romance-horror and the visuals appeal to you, it's probably worth seeing. I enjoyed it even without much of a plot.

I saw some of the visuals and was quite impressed. To a point, I can overlook a poor plot if there's enough eye-candy. I saw a still of the inside of the house and did a half-squee and thought to myself, "This is exactly the kind of house a vampire would have!"

Man, I hadn't played MtG since high school, but it's way more fun than I remembered.

Today I did something that I haven't done in years.
I subscribed to a YouTube channel.
And it's all because of this:

Somehow even though I'd been eagerly waiting for it pretty much all year prior, I somehow missed that the final episodes of Continuum had actually happened.
But that did allow me to just sit down and watch all six episodes in a row last night, so that was cool. Good show!

Yeah, I thought it was a substantial improvement. Pilots are often a little weird. It seems like the next couple episodes are a better indication of whether I'll like a show.

Warcraft movie trailer! Man this sounds awesome, back in the Warcraft 3 days I never could imagine there would be a movie, I don't care if it might be bad, I would watch it anyway!

That looks awesome. I'm simultaneously filled with wild excitement and terrible trepidation.

I just finished Ep 1 of AKA Jessica Jones
- Spoiler:
Not only do I feel violated inside and out, I am utterly horrified that Killgrave in real life is even scarier than in comic form

- Oh, I'm sorry you had that experience. I found it extremely intense - and as I've watched, it's actually gotten quite a bit more brutal - but I appreciated that a show was willing to actually look at mind control in it's darkest light. I've seen a lot of it in sci fi and fantasy TV over the years, from Star Trek to superhero shows, and I think it's interesting to see it examined in the way that I think the show is framing it.
