Anti-vaxxers have "answers" for all of that information in the article, though. But, of course, those answers are always changing.

They moved away from the MMR-autism thing when that was proven to be false and moved onto "MMR vaccine kills people!" Now they're moving away from that to "herd immunity isn't a thing!" Because of how they're being forced to get vaccines in CA and being guilted about the danger they're creating for others. The "reason" changes, but the truthiness of their beliefs doesn't.

Hopefully, soon we can create a vaccine for anti-vax stupidity. Then they'll die out.

Can't we just have laws that permit exceptions for vaccinations only for medical reasons?

Only in CA, I think.

And even then, I don't know how you'd enforce it if the kids are being homeschooled or going to a private school with the philosophy that vaccines are bad.

Simple. Take the kids away from the parents if they don't vaccinate.

This morning, one manager at the department store (so, you know, a place where you necessarily come into contact with all manner of other people and whatever they might be ill with) where I work mentioned that she would be leaving early as her newborn was ill and didn't have childcare. Somehow that evolved into a conversation between her and another manager about how neither of them believe in getting the flu vaccine because it just makes your kids get sick. Both of these people were sniffling and coughing during the exchange.
