This week I had coffee with a friend of my sister's, who I met at her birthday party some weeks ago. Then today I learned that last Thursday, my sister had coffee with one of my friends, who she met at my birthday party in February. It's nice to be exchanging friends like that.

So there's this guy who used to do some of the same events I do. He dressed up as the spooky kid from Thunderdome. He was out in Australia checking out the roads and spots in the desert where the first two Mad Max movies were filmed when one of those huge land trains drifted into the oncoming lane and POOF! No more Lance.

Anyway, I just found out that at the end of the credits of Fury Road is "Dedicated to Lance Moore" and I'm trying really hard not to cry around my coworkers because he couldn't have asked for a better tribute.

Today my brother graduated from college Summa Cum Laude. He doesn't have his grades yet so he's not sure if he completely maintained a 4.0, but my family and I are really proud of him all the same.

Speaking of graduation - I also just got an email invitation to my B.A. graduation ceremony. While I'm not an excelling student like both my siblings were when they finished thiers, I still see it as a moment of small victory :-)
