Also the other half surprised me by saving a chunk of his holiday spending money to buy me a pretty to celebrate me getting TWO new jobs. In related news, I have determined I am clearly meant to wear nothing but skater dresses. And yes, I will be posting pics in the style thread when I get the chance!

So not only have I got a job interview with a game developer for the role of QA tester sometime not next week but the week after, but I've just gotten a phone call and they want me to come in next week and do some data input for them!

Cheesecake bites are one of the most amazing desserts. The restaurant I had first discovered them at is a ways out of the way to drive to and the food there doesn't impress me much, but I kept thinking I should go back once in a while just for the cheesecake bites. But then last night, I found them at a different restaurant much closer to home and with food I like way better, so now I can just go there to get them! And it's even better because they have a caramel dipping sauce here rather than the raspberry sauce which I don't like at the other place! And I am way too excited about this!

I finished a piece I'd been working on for almost literally a month during my free time (juuuust in time for DA:I to come out). Since then, I've been watching the notes roll in with some bemusement - I almost never get this much attention for my stuff.

Feels pretty good mang.

Well, I got promoted! Sort of. Same job, really, but I have more control over my work and self-manage a lot more. It's a godsend.

Got myself a turntable, puck, amplifier and phono stage for Christmas too.

My 7-year-old daughter spent an hour and a half yesterday joyfully learning the basic concepts of coding, thanks to Disney letting code.org use their Frozen characters for coding exercises. This thing is AWESOME: code.org/frozen
